Designed specifically for orchard and turf use, the dual-spinner Willmar S-150 pull-type spreader fits the precision pattern needs of smaller applications. The optional orchard deflectors are designed to place the bulk of the material at the center of orchard rows.

With up to 12 wheel-track options including a narrow track frame option (S-500NT), the mid-size, 5-ton (4536 kg) S-500 is versatile enough to adapt to nearly any situation on small or large farm operations. Add to the versatility of the S-500 with one of two different PTO drives or with the optional 8-hp (5.9 kW) engine for driving the spinner system.

Spend more time in the field and less time loading up. Ideal for large farm operations and retail fertilizer plants, the S-600 and S-800 features 6- (5454.5 kg) or 8-ton (7272.7 kg) capacities respectively, an optional 8-hp (5.9 kW) engine for driving the spinner system, braking for improved safety and heavy-duty hitches with safety chains. Narrow track frame option is available on the S600NT.

Fast and efficient unloading translates into convenience and profitability in the fertilizer tender business. Willmar’s 16 and 24-ton side-discharge tenders move up to two tones of material a minute. Willmar's truck or trailer-mounted 10 and 16-ton tenders are ideal for commercial fertilizer dealers, custom applicators and large farming operations.

Corrosion Resistant Materials

Every Willmar spreader is designed with corrosion-resistant phenolic flooring so material moves smoothly, reducing build-up and extending the life of the conveyor chain. A chemical-resistant, epoxy-based rust-inhibiting primer and super-tough, acrylic urethane finish work together to protect and extend the life of the spreader.

Consistent Conveyor Systems

Every Willmar spreader is equipped with two-speed conveyor belt that provides an application rate of less than 100 lbs. per acre to over 2,000 lbs. per acre. The chain and sprocket conveyor ground drive system maintains a consistent relationship between ground speed and conveyor speed insuring precise application of materials even in moist condition. A slip clutch sprocket assembly is incorporated to prevent damage to drive components

Equal Load Distribution

A multi-leaf, spring suspension system with rocker arms positioned on both sides of each axle reduces bounce, improves stability and provides a smooth ride for a consistent spray pattern. The suspension system allows you to unhook from the spreader without the risk of tilting or tipping over.

Accurate Spread Pattern

Willmar spreaders are available in single- or dual-spinner configurations. The single spinner has a 65-ft. (19.8 m) total spread pattern width using a single-pass, flat-type pattern which helps reduce the number of passes across a field for more economical operation.

 

Dual-spinner models are available with 40- (12.2 m) or 50-foot (15.2 m) that delivers an 80- or 100-foot spread, respectively, that creates a pyramid-style spread pattern with 100% overlap which reduces spread pattern variations due to wind and rough terrain.

easy access, Quick cleanout

Rear-mounted ladders provide accessibility to the hoppers, improving the sightline of the fill and flow status. Cleanout is quick and easy, with steep 40 degree fast-flow, stainless steel sides.

Truck or trailer mounted, Willmar’s side-shooting tender can move up to two tons of material a minute. Large diameter 10-inch (25.4 cm) augers and steep 40° sloped sides allow moves materials quickly and efficiently. Discharge rates range from 2,400 pounds (5,280 kg) of urea per minute to 4,000 pounds (8,800 kg) of potash per minute.

convenient controls

Separate controls for on/off horizontal and side discharge as well as fold/unfold and raise/lower auger control are located on the front left catwalk. The one-piece, adjustable swing away auger engages with a spring-loaded back to eliminate spillage. Auger on/off controls and raise/lower controls are conveniently located on the left rear corner of the tender. The self-contained hydraulic system is PTO driven and has a 10-gallon (37,85 L) reservoir.
